Important information to all Youth teachers:
1) Poverty simulation:  
It is an exciting program where adults and children "role play" a poor person and consequences of poverty including a " jail time". Balvihar has spent a lot of money and it is on December 10thALL youth faculty, parents and students are invited. Please send email and RSVP to Shoba. Details are in the attached flyer 
2) Vedanta Society Essay Competition:
 Swami Chetanananda of Vedanta Society would like  balvihar children and youth to participate in this essay competition. The deadline and dates are as per attached brochure. You can get the information from the youth teachers.
3)  Dialogue with Jewish Teens in the Bay area:
We were contacted by a teacher (Evan) at JCHS of the Bay, a pluralistic Jewish school in San Francisco. Evan is teaching comparative religion and they wanted to meet/speak with Hindu teens. More information will be available in classroom discussion @ room 118 on Nov 19th class.
